  • LeBron James participated in leagues, camps & AAU teams
  • 12 All-Time Leading scorers at area High Schools

  • Former Ohio State standout Marcie Alberts, The NCAA National 3-point shooting champion teaches the mechanics of shooting at camp when available.

  • Former participant, Jared Calhoun asst. coach at Walsh University winning a National Championship. Three other Shooting Stars were on that team: Jacob Steuer, Cory Jones and Kevin Stingel
  • Jakarr Sampson, former camper was a standout at St John's University and current player for the Philadelphia 76ers likes Sponge Bob square pants.
  • Dru Joyce, National High School Coach of the Year began his coaching career working Shooting Stars basketball camps.
  • Former participant, Joe Agler was Green High School's All-Time leading scorer for more than a decade at 1143 points, Austin Marciniak finished his career at GHS with 1242 points which included 226 three point goals and 89 % at the free throw line his senior year. Austin played in every varsity game he was eligible for while collecting four varsity letters, he never missed for injury or illness, and never fouled out while posting a career record of 75-20.
